52 Degrees North (David, Darren and Rod) are excited to announce that they will be supporting ANDYSMANCLUB in their campaign to row around Great Britain, unsupported as part of the GB Row Challenge event in June 2025!

The GB Row Challenge is the ultimate rowing feat. Complex tides and very changeable British weather mean good navigation skills are required, as well as the tactical ability to make the most of weather and sea conditions, which can be as important as a team’s strength, stamina and endurance.

It was an easy decision for the crew to get behind ANDYSMANCLUB with their own personal experiences of suicide highlighting the incredible work and support that ANDYSMANCLUB provide. To quote Skipper Darren, “I recently attended one of the group sessions in Abergavenny and was genuinely amazed with the peer-to-peer support on offer. It's a safe, non-judgemental, non-clinical space where men are given the opportunity to talk, if they so wish. I went to the meeting to observe what was on offer. I wanted to understand if it aligned with what we were looking for as a team. As it turned out, I joined in with the session and instantly knew AMC were the charity for us. I left that session with an unbelievable feeling of hope for those in need. We just need to let them know it's available.”

In addition to generating awareness and raising funds for ANDYSMANCLUB, 52 Degrees North are also looking for corporate partners to align with and in return can offer fantastic, wide-reaching sponsorship opportunities. The GB Row Challenge event is truly unique and has an ever growing media interest, offering coverage across multiple channels including national television.
